Privacy

This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your files are never uploaded to a server, never stored by PDFZova, and never shared with anyone. Closing the tab discards them. The only exception is if a future tool is explicitly labelled as server-processed — this tool is not one of those.

Frequently asked questions

What does flattening actually do?

It turns changeable content into fixed page content. For forms, the filled-in values become ordinary printed text that can no longer be edited in a form field.

Why would I flatten everything?

When a PDF has layers, comments or annotations you want baked in so every viewer shows exactly the same page. It costs selectable text, so it is not the default.

About Flatten PDF

A filled form should stay filled. Flatten PDF renders each form field's current value onto the page and removes the editable field, so the content can no longer be changed as a form field. If your PDF has no form fields, processing stops with a clear message instead of producing a pointless file.
