Privacy
This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your files are never uploaded to a server, never stored by PDFZova, and never shared with anyone. Closing the tab discards them. The only exception is if a future tool is explicitly labelled as server-processed — this tool is not one of those.
Frequently asked questions
Does clearing metadata remove everything hidden?
No — only the document description fields. Page content, comments and attachments (if any) stay as they are.
About Edit Metadata
The title, author and keywords stored inside a PDF are what readers and search tools see first. Edit Metadata sets those four properties — or clears any of them by leaving the field empty — while the document's pages stay completely untouched. Note that this version writes exactly what you enter; it does not display existing values first.
